About our Meta AI coverage

Meta builds AI across its apps and devices: the Llama model family, the Meta AI assistant in Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, AI-driven advertising systems, smart glasses, and research from its AI labs. This hub collects AiLookout’s Meta AI news, newest first, including model releases, product features, infrastructure spending, research papers, and the legal cases that touch Meta’s training data.

When a figure comes from Meta, such as a benchmark score, user count or capital spending plan, the story attributes it to Meta and links the post, paper or earnings release. Court filings and independent reporting are linked separately so readers can weigh each claim.

Use this page to follow how Meta is using AI across its business, or to compare its open-weight approach with the closed models covered on our OpenAI news and Claude news hubs. Every story here links its primary sources, shows its publication date, and discloses the AI assistance used to write it. New stories are added as they are published, and older coverage stays available further down the list.
